A portion of all the offerings given to Faith Lutheran Church go to support the Mission Work of The Church of the Lutheran Confession. The CLC Board of Missions oversees the support several Mission Congregations in the United States and Canada. In addition to the Mission efforts in North America, we are helping to spread the Gospel in India and Africa. We are affiliated with two Lutheran church bodies in India, and several church bodies in Africa.  Most recently, the CLC began working with Lutheran groups in Nepal and Myanmar. The CLC also helps to support two orphanages in India and Nigeria as well as one school for AIDS orphans in Kenya. CLC members or congregations are given the opportunity to care for one or more orphans by giving a monthly offering to Project Kinship, an official arm of the CLC, which serves to administer this financial assistance.

Nepal Report

The offerings of God's children given at Faith help support orphanages, seminaries, and Gospel outreach in Nigeria, Togo, Ghana, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda on the African continent.

The Lord has also blessed us with the opportunity to support the work being done in India and Nepal. Through our offerings to the Lord the members of Faith assist in the efforts of the Berea Evangelical Lutheran Church (BELC) in the spread of the Gospel through support of pastoral training. The BELC is divided into several districts in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. A full-time pastoral training school was established in February 2007. We are also privileged to assist in supporting some 50+ children being cared for at the Church of the Lutheran Confession of India (CLCI) orphanage in South India. The CLCI serves several congregations and preaching stations in South India. In addition to this, they conduct Evangelism missions into the tribal areas of India where Christianity is virtually unknown. A CLCI seminary for training pastors for the work of the ministry is also being operated.
